Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center

Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center

Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center is a sophisticated architectural and interior design achievement located in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, China, encompassing 3,216 square meters of meticulously crafted exhibition space that harmoniously blends contemporary design elements with traditional Chinese cultural motifs. The center, designed by Yutao Song and Ying Chen, serves as a cultural nexus celebrating Chuanjiang heritage through its thoughtfully curated spaces, including a project sand table model display area, Chuanjiang culture exhibition hall, and negotiation reception areas. The design philosophy draws profound inspiration from the maritime heritage of the region, incorporating symbolic elements of traditional river boats, tile eaves, and nautical ropes into its modern architectural vocabulary. The interior design scheme employs a refined palette of black, white, warm gray, and natural wood tones, accented with strategic touches of red and plant green, while utilizing premium materials such as Ferrari grey marble flooring and jute rope installations to create an atmosphere of sophisticated warmth. The center's architectural language creates a seamless integration between interior and exterior spaces, emphasizing the relationship between human experience, natural elements, and cultural heritage. This exemplary work of design, which was completed in March 2023, has been recognized with a Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial design and cultural preservation.
