Three Dimensional Office
Three Dimensional Office is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated spatial planning through its unique two-story configuration within a 125-square-meter space. Originally featuring a 7-meter height, this architectural intervention transforms a single volume into a dual-level workspace that harmoniously combines reception, discussion, and work areas. The ground floor showcases a thoughtfully designed reception and discussion space, characterized by the elegant integration of Silver Fox marble and solid wood veneer grill fencing, which effectively manages external interference while maintaining aesthetic appeal. The space employs a refined material palette, including architectural concrete and light-colored patterned flooring, establishing a serene atmosphere enhanced by a wooden long table and grey seating arrangements. A distinctive blackboard display wall creates visual contrast while softening the environment. The design's sophisticated elements include a bar-style reception area, a randomly patterned wall concealing the staircase entrance, and a zigzag circulation pattern that enhances spatial flow. The second floor, dedicated to work areas, features a parallel arrangement of three tables that maximizes designer workspace efficiency, topped by an innovative grid-pattern ceiling that transcends conventional spatial boundaries. This project, completed in March 2016 in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, and designed by Jia-Ru Chen, earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial organization and innovative design approach.
