The Wonderful Encounter Of Vision Residence
The Wonderful Encounter of Vision Residence is an exemplary interior design project that masterfully blends neo-classical aesthetics with contemporary design sensibilities, realized within a 171-square-meter mansion in New Taipei City. This sophisticated residential space, completed in November 2017, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning and innovative design solutions, earning recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The design philosophy centers on creating an open, light-filled environment through the strategic removal of superfluous partitions and cabinets, allowing natural illumination to flow freely throughout the space. The interior scheme employs a refined white color palette executed through various textures and materials, including Carrara marble, spray paint, Malay paint, and carefully selected wallpapers. The public areas feature a harmonious integration of black, gold, and blue accent tones, complemented by flowing linear elements and thoughtful lighting design that effectively addresses structural elements such as beams and columns. The residence showcases a sophisticated balance between functional spaces and aesthetic appeal, with custom display areas in both the living room and kitchen designed to house the client's book and artwork collections. The master bedroom maintains the light classical aesthetic while incorporating designer furniture and mirror elements, creating a harmonious retreat that reflects the occupant's personal interests and lifestyle. The project's success lies in its careful attention to detail, innovative use of materials, and the seamless integration of classical symmetry with modern design elements, resulting in a living space that elevates the standard of contemporary residential interior design.
