The Scenery Of Nature Interior Design

The Scenery Of Nature Interior Design

The Scenery of Nature Interior Design is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of modern architectural principles with biophilic design elements, created by designers Wei-Ting Lin and Kuei-Yen Tseng. Located in a bustling business district, this 374-square-meter office space for a housing agency demonstrates a sophisticated approach to workplace design that prioritizes both functionality and employee wellbeing. The design philosophy centers on creating a greenery environment that successfully balances professional efficiency with comfortable aesthetics. The space features a distinctive lounge area constructed primarily of wood materials, where expansive windows flood the interior with natural daylight, creating an open and inviting atmosphere. The design's material palette combines iron works, wooden flooring, and strategic yellow recessed lighting to achieve a cohesive visual language that bridges formal and casual elements. Notable design elements include bookshelf walls that effectively delineate the lounge area from work zones, while carefully selected grey couches, thoughtfully placed potted plants, and distinctive rhino-style decorations contribute to softening the traditionally rigid office environment. This project, which was completed in 2015 in Taiwan, earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and innovative approach to contemporary workplace design. The project's success lies in its ability to create a professional environment that maintains a connection to nature while supporting productive work activities.
