The Residence In Pure White Interior Design
The Residence in Pure White Interior Design is a sophisticated residential interior design project completed in 2016 in Taichung City, Taiwan, encompassing 198 square meters of living space that masterfully integrates American household style with contemporary aesthetics. Created by designer Chung-Yang Wang, this interior space exemplifies a harmonious balance between symmetrical design principles and modern luxury living, featuring a distinctive approach that deviates from conventional residential layouts by replacing the traditional TV-centric focal point with an elegant fireplace wall composed of white stone and clean lines. The design's most notable characteristic is its emphasis on pure white spaces enhanced by large ceiling windows, creating an atmosphere of serenity and refinement that serves as an ideal backdrop for displaying art collections. The project incorporates several sophisticated design elements, including herringbone wood flooring, crystal chandeliers, and strategically placed wall lamps, all arranged in perfect symmetry around a central round dining table. The interior's progression draws inspiration from traditional Chinese architectural concepts, particularly the idea of move forward, implemented through a series of recessed galleries that guide the visual journey through interconnected living spaces. The bathroom design showcases a unique combination of light-yellow silk cloth and installation art-style mirrors, incorporating marble and brass elements to create an understated yet sophisticated aesthetic experience. This exceptional design was recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to spatial organization and aesthetic excellence.
