The Refiery091 Restaurant is an innovative themed pub establishment located in Kolkata, India, that revolutionizes traditional pub design through its unique industrial-refinery aesthetic concept. This platinum A' Design Award-winning interior space, spanning 800 square meters across two levels, masterfully integrates industrial elements with refined contemporary design, creating a distinctive hospitality environment that pays homage to India's cultural identity through its numerical designation '091,' referencing the country's international dialing code. The architectural design features an impressive 8-meter-high entrance that leads to a dramatically displayed bar area, complemented by an intricate network of copper-finished stainless steel pipes that form a complex ceiling installation. The space incorporates a sophisticated material palette combining wood and metal elements to create a deliberate contrast between warmth and industrial coolness, while the layout thoughtfully divides into distinct functional zones including a dance floor, VIP seating area, and mezzanine level with three separate dining spaces. The establishment's most distinctive design element is its refinery-inspired decor, featuring PVD-coated stainless steel pipes in various finishes including glossy, matte, and black copper, which required innovative installation solutions to preserve the finished surfaces below.
