The One Palace Model Room is an exemplary interior design project located in Xi'an, China, representing a sophisticated fusion of modern minimalist aesthetics and functional living spaces. This innovative residential design, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2021, showcases a thoughtfully curated living environment spanning two living rooms, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The design's distinctive features include a harmonious blend of gray wood finishes and natural stone, complemented by striking orange leather furniture and refined metal accents. The 46-square-meter master bedroom incorporates a multifunctional space with a workbench and U-shaped cloakroom, while the master bathroom spans 12 square meters with luxury hotel-inspired amenities. The project's architectural narrative emphasizes spatial fluidity, demonstrated through its open-plan layout connecting living, dining, and cooking areas without partition walls. Notable design elements include a semi-opened study room with adaptable privacy features, a sophisticated hallway featuring natural veined stone and circular mirrors, and a uniquely conceived private corner behind the sofa with a glass-partitioned bar counter for contemplative moments. Completed between May 2019 and November 2020, this model room exemplifies contemporary living solutions through its emphasis on functional orientation, refined material selection, and thoughtful space utilization, setting new standards in residential interior design while maintaining a connection to its surrounding aquatic ecosystem environment.
