The Memory Of Poetry Sales Office
The Memory of Poetry Sales Office is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of contemporary oriental art with traditional cultural elements, located in the Wuyi New District of Nanping City. This sophisticated 500-square-meter space, completed in December 2021, represents a groundbreaking approach to commercial architecture by seamlessly integrating the ladder-sequence formations characteristic of Wuyi tea mountains and Hakka enclosed dwellings into its design vocabulary. The project's distinctive feature lies in its fluid spatial arrangement, where rounded curves extend throughout the space, creating a seamless flow between walls, roof, and ground through masterful deformation and sequence reorganization. The design team's innovative structural solutions, including optimized column sizing, enabled the creation of an expansive column-free space that enhances the visitor experience. Conceptualized as an urban art museum, the space transcends its primary function as a sales office to become a cultural landmark that pays homage to the region's natural heritage and philosophical wisdom. The design draws inspiration from the Jiuqu River's meandering path through the Wuyi mountains, embodying the principle of natural harmony in its architectural expression. Through the sophisticated application of modern materials and technology, the project successfully preserves and reinterprets local cultural heritage while advancing contemporary design principles. This exceptional achievement in interior space design was recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to the field of commercial architecture and cultural preservation.
