The Majestic Residence

The Majestic Residence

The Majestic Residence is an award-winning interior design project completed in 2020, exemplifying contemporary luxury living through thoughtful spatial planning and sophisticated material selection. Located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, this 65-ping (approximately 215 square meters) residence masterfully balances grandeur with functionality, featuring three bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen within an open-plan layout. The design's distinctive characteristics include a harmonious integration of premium materials, with marble slabs and wood veneer creating continuous visual flows throughout both public and private spaces. The interior architecture is distinguished by its curved ceiling framework, complemented by strategically embedded linear LED lighting that enhances the space's magnificent ambiance. A notable design element is the semi-permeable cabinetry system that serves as both a functional partition and a display solution, contributing to the space's airy atmosphere while maintaining visual connectivity. The designers, Nick Lin and Joseph Sun, incorporated feng shui principles into the spatial configuration, resulting in thoughtful adjustments to door and bed placements. The public areas showcase an impressive marble TV wall as the focal point, harmoniously paired with hand-brushed special paint treatments that create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The private spaces echo the public areas' refined material palette while emphasizing calm and stability through modern, minimalist approaches. The master bedroom features dual dressing rooms, achieved through innovative space optimization, demonstrating the design's commitment to both luxury and practicality. This exceptional residential project was honored with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its outstanding contribution to contemporary residential design.
