The Heaven Villa Residential

The Heaven Villa Residential

The Heaven Villa Residential is an exemplary interior design project that masterfully balances classical and modern design elements, completed in Taipei, Taiwan, in 2019. Designed by Yu Ju Lin, this residential space showcases an innovative approach to material utilization, particularly in its sophisticated application of marble, carbonized steel brushed wood, and mosaic light elements. The project distinguishes itself through its thoughtful integration of sustainable practices, notably incorporating factory surplus stone materials in creative ways throughout the space. The design's dark color palette serves as a unifying element, while various stone textures featuring white fish patterns, dragon and phoenix motifs, and splash ink effects are strategically implemented through different mosaic methods. The living space incorporates several architectural innovations, including a mirror ceiling in the island dining area that creates an illusion of expanded space while providing subtle spatial partitioning. The project demonstrates exceptional attention to functionality, featuring customized storage solutions, including a specially designed dressing room and pet accommodation under the stairs. The design earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and innovative design approach. The project's success lies in its ability to harmonize opposing design elements, creating a sophisticated living environment that caters to both classical and contemporary aesthetic preferences while maintaining practical functionality and environmental consciousness.
