The Forest Of Life Commercial

The Forest of Life Commercial is an innovative interior exhibition space spanning 406 square meters, designed to showcase corporate culture and smart energy technology while emphasizing environmental sustainability. Completed in June 2020 in Nanjing, China, by the design team at Serendipper, this immersive installation masterfully combines high-technology elements with natural aesthetics to create a unique visitor experience. The design concept revolves around the harmonious coexistence between urban development and natural forests, expressed through a sophisticated blend of materials and interactive elements. The space features water-rippled stainless steel ceiling panels, strategically layered acrylic sheets with forest patterns, and innovative lighting solutions that create an authentic forest atmosphere. The exhibition incorporates diverse design elements including high-tech lighting, audio-visual displays, and interactive exhibits, complemented by natural materials such as wood and stone. Visitors journey through a park-like setting that represents the changing seasons, encountering carefully curated displays of moss, simulated plants, and wildlife sculptures including deer and polar bears. The project, which won the Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional spatial planning and technological integration. Led by designers Lei Dong, Tian Lu Cai, Chang Jiang Shang, and Jian Xin Liu, the installation effectively communicates the importance of sustainable energy solutions while providing an engaging educational experience. The design's success lies in its ability to create an immersive environment that seamlessly integrates corporate messaging with environmental consciousness, establishing a powerful narrative about the future of urban energy consumption and environmental preservation.
