The Field Is Embedded With Wisdom Interior Design

The Field is Embedded with Wisdom Interior Design is an award-winning architectural interior design project completed in 2015 in Taichung City, Taiwan, that masterfully harmonizes urban functionality with tranquil aesthetics. The 508-square-meter space, conceived by designer Sheng-Hsin Hsu, represents a sophisticated approach to creating a sanctuary within a bustling cityscape, particularly notable for its innovative use of grilles that establish both vertical rhythm and spatial penetration. The design's distinctive features include a large revolving door that effectively segments different spatial zones while strengthening the connection between interior and exterior environments. The project demonstrates exceptional material sophistication through its extensive use of wooden elements, particularly in reception areas, creating an intriguing dialogue with the stone facade. A significant design challenge was addressed through the strategic placement of abundant shrubs near the large interior windows, effectively creating an acoustic and visual buffer between the interior sanctuary and the adjacent roadway. The spatial arrangement guides visitors through a transformative journey, beginning at the entrance porch and continuing through a thoughtfully designed corridor that facilitates mental transition from urban chaos to interior calm. The design's geometric interplay, manifested in the relationship between circular and square forms, creates a sophisticated visual language that earned it the Gold A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial innovation and aesthetic achievement.
