The Delicacy Seen In Original Public Area
The Delicacy Seen in Original Public Area is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious integration of natural elements with contemporary architectural aesthetics in public spaces. Located in Taichung City, Taiwan, this 450-square-meter masterpiece, designed by Chin-Chun Wu, represents a sophisticated approach to community living spaces that prioritizes both functionality and artistic expression. The design's cornerstone philosophy centers on creating diverse lifestyle opportunities while satisfying the innate human desire for natural environments within urban settings. The project features distinctive elements such as hollow logs that symbolize original life forms and provide privacy, complemented by a thoughtful interplay between indoor paintings and outdoor stone installations. The fourth-floor houses a meticulously designed swimming pool and spa facility, where the integration of grille ceilings and strategic lighting transforms indoor spaces into seeming outdoor environments. The ground floor showcases an impressive confluence of design elements, including a rock waterfall wall, greenery plant installations, and a sophisticated bar area furnished with natural materials. Notable technical features include sound-absorbing foam walls, a distinctive U-shaped ceiling at the driveway entrance, and an innovative titanium-plated LED board that emanates golden light, creating an atmosphere of refined primitiveness. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional material harmony through its combination of polished stone flooring, travertine walls imported from Iran, and contemporary elements such as olive green flannel couches and silver accents, all unified under an oval ceiling light system that enhances spatial perception.
