The 10th China Flower Expo Exhibition is an innovative interior exhibition space design project located in Shanghai's Chongming District, encompassing 272 square meters of thoughtfully curated space that celebrates Taiwan's rich ecological heritage through an immersive floral experience. Conceived and executed by design director Alex Chiang alongside project designers Jasmine Huang and JianYang Song, this Bronze A' Design Award-winning exhibition masterfully integrates cutting-edge mapping technology with traditional spatial design to create five sequential dreaming scenes: encounter, entry, surprise, interaction, and wish. The exhibition's conceptual foundation draws inspiration from Taiwan's unique geographical and climatic conditions, particularly emphasizing its reputation as the Kingdom of Butterflies through carefully planned exhibition spaces featuring characteristic Taiwanese flowers. The design employs sophisticated mapping technology and interactive elements to create a harmonious blend of reality and fiction, allowing visitors to experience Taiwan's landscape transformations while engaging with carefully curated floral displays. The exhibition, completed in December 2020, demonstrates exceptional innovation in its approach to spatial diffusion, using butterflies as an ecological character to guide the visitor experience. This prestigious project, recognized at the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award, showcases excellence in combining sustainable design principles with creative spatial solutions, offering visitors a multisensory journey through Taiwan's natural splendor while incorporating cultural elements such as floral sky lanterns to enhance the authentic experience.
