Teza Sensor Trash Can Sensor Trash Can

Teza Sensor Trash Can Sensor Trash Can is an innovative home appliance that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of functionality and aesthetic design in contemporary waste management solutions. Distinguished by its sophisticated sensor-controlled operation and thoughtful design elements, this automated waste receptacle features a refined form factor inspired by carved gemstones, incorporating rounded edges that strike an optimal balance between hard and soft contours. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category, showcases advanced technological integration through its infrared sensing system that enables swift and silent lid operation, with an expanded sensing range that facilitates hands-free waste disposal. Constructed from color-painted stainless steel and engineering plastic, the unit is available in four distinct colorways and two capacity options: 12L (244mm x 244mm x 423mm) and 8L (244mm x 244mm x 309mm). A particularly innovative feature is the drain-strainer shaped bottom insert equipped with a specialized bait compartment for pest control, designed with child safety in mind. The system incorporates sophisticated programming that allows for multiple operation modes, including a stay-open function activated by hovering gestures, and an energy-efficient standby mode that addresses environmental concerns. The development process, spanning from December 2017 to July 2018, involved extensive research including interviews with 30 families in Southeast China, resulting in specific design solutions for common household challenges such as pest control and noise reduction.
