Temple Nightclub Night Club is an innovative architectural and interior design project that exemplifies the fusion of futuristic aesthetics with functional nightlife entertainment space. Located in San Francisco, this two-story establishment represents a groundbreaking approach to nightclub design, characterized by its spaceship-inspired concept and sophisticated technological integration. The project, completed in December 2014 and designed by Mitra Gholami, masterfully transforms spatial challenges into distinctive design features, particularly evident in the creative treatment of structural columns enhanced with LED lighting systems. The venue's design language draws inspiration from science fiction cinematography, including influences from iconic futuristic films, and incorporates sacred geometric patterns throughout its composition. The technical infrastructure includes an impressive array of approximately 1,500 to 2,000 dome LED lights in the ceiling, controlled through multiple panels, while the custom-designed furniture features integrated LED strip lighting. The 20-meter width by 40-meter depth space showcases a sophisticated interplay of light and architecture, with each element carefully crafted to contribute to the spaceship narrative - from the engine-inspired furniture to the control center-themed DJ booth, and a star-like ceiling installation. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2017, demonstrates exceptional innovation in spatial design, particularly in its solution to the challenging narrow layout and structural column integration. The venue's sophisticated lighting system is programmed to interact dynamically with musical performances, controlled from a dedicated engineering room that oversees the entire space, creating an immersive entertainment environment that seamlessly blends technology with architectural design.
