Taekwondo Poster

Taekwondo Poster

Taekwondo Poster is an innovative advertising design that cleverly illustrates the practical challenges of modern automotive convenience through a humorous and engaging visual narrative. Created by Chinese designers Li Taizhong and Liangxiangdong, this high-definition light box advertisement measures 2.4x1.5 meters and employs exaggerated illustrations to demonstrate the utility of automatic trunk opening functionality in vehicles. The design's conceptual foundation stems from the common frustration of managing multiple shopping bags while attempting to operate a vehicle's trunk, playfully suggesting that only someone with martial arts expertise could manage such a task without automated assistance. The poster's artistic execution features hand-painted illustrations with carefully crafted facial expressions that convey both exhaustion and comedic struggle, effectively communicating the advertised solution through visual storytelling. Displayed prominently at the Zhengzhou high-speed railway station, this communication design piece exemplifies how strategic placement and artistic innovation can enhance marketing impact. The work garnered international recognition when it received the Gold A' Design Award in the Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design category, acknowledging its excellence in creative execution and effective message delivery. The design's success lies in its ability to transform a mundane technological feature into a memorable visual narrative that resonates with everyday consumer experiences, while maintaining professional advertising standards and cultural relevance.
