Symphony Orchestra Music Hall

Symphony Orchestra Music Hall

Symphony Orchestra Music Hall is a meticulously designed acoustic performance space specifically engineered for symphony orchestra performances, exemplifying the intersection of architectural innovation and acoustic excellence. This sophisticated venue, spanning 1000 square meters, represents a remarkable fusion of traditional Lithuanian cultural elements with contemporary design principles, achieved through a innovative Lego constructor philosophy that integrates precisely calculated acoustic elements. The interior architecture features carefully positioned rhombuses, triangles, and both smooth and ribbed planes, all working in harmony to create optimal sound conditions while maintaining aesthetic appeal. The space incorporates ancient Lithuanian ethnic motifs and runic alphabet influences, manifested through decorative wall treatments utilizing oak veneer-covered plasterboards illuminated by integrated LED strips. The hall's acoustic engineering, developed in collaboration with specialized acousticians, establishes new standards for orchestral performance spaces, while the oak parquet flooring and strategically designed ceiling components contribute to both the acoustic performance and visual sophistication. This Silver A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category demonstrates exceptional achievement in acoustic architecture, combining technical excellence with cultural preservation. The reconstruction, completed in March 2023, transforms the existing space into a premier cultural venue that prioritizes listener experience through its innovative geometric configuration and material selection, establishing new benchmarks in concert hall design.
