Symphony Of Spring Residence

Symphony Of Spring Residence

Symphony of Spring Residence is an award-winning residential interior design project located in Taichung city, Taiwan, encompassing 341 square meters of thoughtfully curated living space. Designed by Yu-Lin Shih, this sophisticated dwelling masterfully integrates modern aesthetics with natural elements, particularly through its innovative interpretation of floral motifs. The design's distinctive approach is characterized by its harmonious use of blue-gray walls, dark wooden flooring, and white marble, creating a majestic yet welcoming atmosphere. The public areas showcase an elegant interplay of textures and materials, while black and white mosaic tiles artfully depict floral patterns, effectively bringing outdoor garden elements indoors through contemporary design techniques. The residence features a carefully considered transition between public and private spaces, with the latter incorporating dignified, calm tones and wood elements to promote relaxation. A notable design element includes strategically placed mirrors in the foyer, which not only define spatial boundaries but also create an expansive visual effect. The project, completed in May 2019, exemplifies excellence in interior space planning and earned recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to residential design innovation. The design's sophisticated approach to color, texture, and spatial organization demonstrates a masterful balance between aesthetic refinement and functional living space, while the incorporation of artistic elements, such as the prominently placed piano, further enhances the cultural sophistication of the environment.
