Sweet Daily Residential

Sweet Daily Residential

Sweet Daily Residential is an award-winning interior design project that exemplifies minimalist contemporary living through thoughtful spatial planning and sophisticated material selection. Located in Taiwan, this 105.7-square-meter apartment renovation transforms a decade-old living space into a harmonious environment that prioritizes natural light and family functionality. The design, conceived by Jen-Kuang Fang, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its execution, earning recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The project's distinctive features include the strategic removal of unnecessary partitions to optimize natural light flow and create an open-plan living arrangement. The design philosophy embraces a refined color palette of beige and gray, complemented by warm wood tones that create a serene atmosphere throughout the space. The renovation addressed significant challenges, including the comprehensive restoration of damaged surfaces to achieve the desired minimalist aesthetic. The interior showcases innovative space planning through the elimination of the study room and foyer partition, resulting in enhanced natural light penetration and improved circulation patterns. Notable design elements include carefully considered vertical and horizontal lines that add dimensional texture to the facades, while the material selection prioritizes durability and maintenance with moisture-resistant and anti-abrasion materials. The project, completed in July 2022, successfully integrates sophisticated lighting solutions, creating an interplay between natural and artificial illumination that enhances the spatial experience while maintaining functionality for daily family activities.
