SV Villa Residential House

SV Villa Residential House

SV Villa Residential House is an exemplary residential architectural project located in Barcelona, Spain, that masterfully integrates contemporary design principles with traditional construction methods. This 882-square-meter dwelling, completed in 2019, represents a harmonious blend of urban living and countryside tranquility, offering panoramic views of Barcelona, Montjuic Mountain, and the Mediterranean Sea. The structure is distinguished by its innovative use of handcrafted brick elements, specifically designed with varying dimensions to create a modular spatial organization that determines the size and layout of interior spaces. The villa comprises three distinct levels: a ground floor housing common areas including living room, kitchen, and dining spaces; a basement level featuring guest accommodations, multipurpose rooms, and garage facilities; and an upper floor dedicated to private quarters including children's bedrooms and a master suite. Notable architectural features include a sophisticated steel frame system integrated with solid oak beams, and a thoughtfully designed corbel system that regulates natural light and ventilation. The project demonstrates exceptional commitment to sustainability through the implementation of passive energy solutions and the extensive use of local materials, including specially manufactured bricks created from a precise mixture of regional sands and clays. This architectural achievement, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, exemplifies excellence in spatial design, environmental consciousness, and the seamless integration of traditional craftsmanship with modern architectural principles.
