Located in the business district of Gurgaon, India, this distinctive venue exemplifies a harmonious fusion of traditional Indian architectural principles with contemporary pub aesthetics. The design concept draws profound inspiration from Vedic scriptures, incorporating the five fundamental elements of nature - fire, water, earth, sky, and outer space - into its spatial composition. The establishment features a thoughtfully divided layout comprising indoor and outdoor spaces, with the latter centered around a traditional Indian courtyard concept featuring a prominent tree as its focal point. The interior space is distinguished by two primary focal points: an expansive bar counter and a live performance stage adorned with a striking oversized gramophone record player backdrop. The design philosophy emphasizes raw materiality, employing natural finishes such as exposed bricks, fly-ash blocks, and untreated wood, complemented by mild steel elements. A notable architectural feature is the unique metal hemispherical geodesic dome, symbolizing the cosmic element and celestial structures. The venue's lighting scheme draws inspiration from fire (agni), while a cascading waterfall element represents water (jal), creating a multi-sensory experience. This innovative design approach earned recognition at the A' Design Award competition, receiving an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial design and cultural integration.
