Suspended and Transparent Office is an innovative commercial office space design that exemplifies the harmonious integration of environmental consciousness with contemporary architectural aesthetics. Created by designer Shi-Zhe Lo, this 80-square-meter interior space challenges traditional office design conventions through its distinctive use of suspended elements and transparent materials. The design's cornerstone concept revolves around the interplay between weightiness and visual lightness, achieved through the strategic implementation of suspended outer walls that float above the ceiling using iron pieces, creating an ethereal floating effect that enhances spatial openness. The project demonstrates exceptional material selection, incorporating environmentally sustainable panels made from reclaimed wood, natural cypress ceilings, and a sophisticated combination of stone, iron, and gray mirrors. The innovative design features manually rotatable wooden grilles that regulate airflow and natural light penetration, while green walls inject vitality and balance the space's inherent coolness. The layout efficiently segments the space into distinct office, meeting, and negotiation areas while maintaining visual continuity through transparent elements that create a cube-like effect, allowing seamless visual flow between interior and exterior spaces.
