Sunlight Sprinkles Residence

Sunlight Sprinkles Residence

Sunlight Sprinkles Residence is an award-winning residential interior design project that exemplifies sophisticated spatial planning and innovative lighting design, completed in January 2021 in Taipei. The 182.4-square-meter residence, situated on the sixth floor of a building, masterfully combines functionality with aesthetic excellence through its thoughtful integration of curved elements, premium materials, and strategic lighting solutions. The design, conceived by Fu-Mei Chiu and Wan-Lin Liu, transforms a conventional living space into an elegant private club-like atmosphere, featuring three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a dedicated meeting area. The project's distinctive characteristics include its innovative use of thin bricks, wood, and metal materials, complemented by high-end furnishings such as Danish leather chairs and crystal lighting fixtures. The design's cornerstone is its unique approach to natural light manipulation, achieved through a carefully restructured layout that allows sunlight to flow freely throughout the public areas, creating an ethereal, cloud-like ambiance. Technical innovations include concealed wiring systems integrated within aluminum window frames, press-on wall designs for maintenance accessibility, and sophisticated audio-visual installations. The project, which won an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its execution, from the B&B Tobi-Ishi table's oval design in the meeting area to the thoughtfully configured color schemes that enhance visual fluidity throughout the space.
