Sunac Xin Mei Yu Sales Center

Sunac Xin Mei Yu Sales Center

Sunac Xin Mei Yu Sales Center is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of cultural heritage and contemporary luxury in Harbin, China. This sophisticated sales center, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, transforms the traditional concept of a commercial space into an immersive experiential destination that celebrates the city's unique cultural tapestry, blending Russian influences with northern Chinese ethnic minority traditions. The design, masterfully conceived by Wally Mau, manifests as a modern gentleman's club atmosphere, characterized by its striking ceiling installation featuring three-dimensional metal chandeliers reminiscent of musical horns, creating an architectural symphony that pays homage to concert hall aesthetics. The space's material palette combines premium elements including metal, marble, leather, and velvet, executed in a sophisticated black and gold color scheme that transcends temporal boundaries while maintaining an air of timeless elegance. The interior's most distinctive feature is its dramatic lighting design, where warm-toned illumination interacts with the metallic surfaces of the horn-shaped fixtures, producing multifaceted reflections that generate an enchanting nocturnal ambiance. This thoughtful integration of lighting and form transforms the space into an urban music cocktail party setting, delivering an sophisticated environment that serves both commercial and experiential purposes while establishing new benchmarks in retail design innovation.
