Sunac Emerald Coast Sales Center is an innovative architectural and interior design project located in Pingyang County, Wenzhou, that exemplifies the seamless integration of oceanic themes with contemporary spatial design principles. This 4,000-square-meter facility, completed in 2020, serves as both a sales center and an experiential space that showcases coastal living through thoughtful architectural elements and interior design features. The design philosophy centers on creating an immersive ocean-themed environment through the strategic use of materials and spatial organization, incorporating large areas of beige stones for the main structural elements and handmade glass bricks with rippled textures that evoke water movements. The facility encompasses three distinct yet interconnected areas: a 1,300-square-meter sales space, a 2,150-square-meter life experience space, and a 550-square-meter auxiliary space, all unified by fluid circulation patterns that enable natural movement between functional zones. The project's innovative approach to lighting includes LED panel installations in the main hall's ceiling, creating an atmospheric environment that enhances the property model display area. The design, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, distinguishes itself through its sophisticated interpretation of marine elements, incorporating aquatic-inspired decorative elements that inject vitality into the space while maintaining professional functionality. Despite challenges including strict budget constraints and pandemic-related obstacles, the project successfully demonstrates how architectural design can create meaningful experiences through the thoughtful application of materials, spatial planning, and thematic elements.
