Su Listen Counseling Clinic
Su Listen Counseling Clinic is an innovative therapeutic space design that exemplifies the harmonious integration of functionality and psychological well-being in healthcare interior architecture. Completed in December 2022 in Taiwan, this 118-square-meter facility showcases a thoughtful approach to mental healthcare environments through its sophisticated design elements and spatial organization. The project's cornerstone features five meticulously crafted individual rooms, each prioritizing spaciousness, privacy, and freedom of movement, essential attributes for effective counseling sessions. The design philosophy centers on creating a nurturing environment where both verbal and spatial communication flourish, achieved through a carefully curated warm color scheme and natural materials. The facility's distinctive linear waiting area, enhanced by strategic strip lighting, creates an illusion of extended space, while the innovative use of glass walls in corridors artfully blurs the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. The design incorporates environmentally conscious materials, including F1-grade wood panels and digitally printed surfaces that simulate marble, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability without compromising aesthetic appeal. The interior's sophisticated ambiance is further elevated by circular ceiling fixtures and distinctive bubble glass wall lamps, which introduce dynamic visual elements that enhance human-space interaction. This Bronze A' Design Award-winning project in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category represents a significant advancement in therapeutic environment design, where every element, from the woven carpets to the linen-textured wallpaper, contributes to creating a holistic healing atmosphere.
