Street Bakery Brand Identity is a comprehensive visual communication design project that exemplifies modern brand development for contemporary bakery establishments, created through the collaborative efforts of designers Sinong Ding, Runxue Chen, and Liu Wei. The design system centers around a distinctive mascot - a charming bear character that serves as the primary intellectual property (IP) element, strategically crafted to appeal to energetic young urban consumers. This sophisticated brand identity employs a minimalist flat graphic design approach, utilizing a harmonious color palette of beige, red, and yellow to evoke warmth, creativity, and optimism. Developed between December 2022 and April 2023, the project encompasses various touchpoints including logo design, packaging solutions, and promotional materials, all unified by environmentally conscious production methods and materials. The identity system successfully addresses the challenge of creating a welcoming, stress-free atmosphere within busy urban environments, offering customers a genuine sense of comfort and relaxation through its visual elements. The design's effectiveness lies in its careful consideration of youth preferences and contemporary design trends, resulting in a cohesive visual language that promotes user engagement and brand recognition. This exemplary work in brand identity design has been recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design category, acknowledging its innovative approach to visual storytelling and strategic brand development.
