Stoked KL Workplace is an innovative interior design project that exemplifies contemporary workplace transformation through its thoughtful integration of open-plan architecture, biophilic elements, and multifunctional spaces. Located in EkoCheras Office Suites, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this 1,300-square-foot workspace reimagines traditional office environments by incorporating studio-like elements that foster creativity and collaboration. The design draws inspiration from Malaysia's distinctive tropical and colonial architectural heritage, featuring a harmonious blend of natural light and sophisticated acoustic solutions. The space is characterized by its versatile layout, including a welcoming touchdown area with a café-style pantry, complemented by a striking black and white tile pattern and a Classic Blue meeting room. A notable artistic element is the hand-painted mural wall by a local artist, which creates a visual connection to the tropical forest environment. The workspace incorporates several innovative features, including movable bar tables for enhanced flexibility, acoustic design panels for noise control, and a material library that serves as both a functional resource and an inspiration hub. The interior architecture maintains a careful balance between aesthetic appeal and practical functionality, with dimensions of 15,400mm width, 8,000mm depth, and 3,900mm height. This award-winning design, recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, successfully addresses contemporary workplace challenges through its human-centric approach, incorporating various seating options, dedicated storage solutions, and adaptable spaces that can transform into event venues during evening hours.
