Stoccolma Flexible Lamp

Stoccolma Flexible Lamp

Stoccolma Flexible Lamp is an innovative lighting system that revolutionizes the concept of adjustable illumination through its unique tension-based design, drawing inspiration from musical instrument strings. This sophisticated lighting fixture, designed by Giulia Liverani and developed by the OliveLab team, features a circular LED light source mounted within a brass disc, supported by an ingenious dual-component wire system that combines brass and elastic materials. The lamp's distinctive design allows for 360-degree rotation and movement, enabling users to personalize their lighting experience with unprecedented flexibility. The technical innovation lies in its power transmission system, where the supporting cables serve both structural and electrical functions, eliminating the common aesthetic and functional challenges associated with traditional power cables. The fixture's dimensions include a 100mm diameter light source with a 25mm depth, capable of extending up to 3.5 meters, and features a high-performance LED system delivering 1600 lumens at 2700K with a CRI of 80, complete with dimming capabilities. This Silver A' Design Award-winning creation in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category represents a significant advancement in lighting design, combining functional versatility with aesthetic minimalism. The four-point anchor system allows for various mounting configurations, making it suitable for multiple applications from bedside reading to ambient corner lighting, while its intuitive manual adjustment system empowers users to actively participate in shaping their illuminated environment.
