Stamen Wall Lamp Wall Lamp

Stamen Wall Lamp Wall Lamp

Stamen Wall Lamp Wall Lamp is an innovative lighting fixture that revolutionizes the traditional concept of wall-mounted illumination by incorporating dynamic, life-like qualities that evolve over time. Designed by Luo Duanxing, Tan Yonghua, and Liu Ben, this sophisticated lighting solution addresses the emotional and psychological aspects of interior lighting through its unique ability to simulate organic growth patterns. The lamp employs ABS material for its main body and acrylic for its panel construction, featuring strategically placed edge gaps that create distinctive light projections through converging light patterns. Its most remarkable characteristic is its ability to change over time, with an internal baffle system that gradually releases to create expanding light circulation patterns, mimicking the natural growth of a plant. The design, which measures 300mm in width, 120mm in depth, and 300mm in height, produces varying spectral outputs across different seasons, reflecting the cyclical changes in nature. This adaptive quality makes it particularly suitable for diverse user groups, from elderly individuals to children and young adults seeking companionship through design. The lamp's innovative features earned it recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, acknowledging its contribution to emotional design in lighting solutions. After approximately 800 hours of use, the design incorporates a unique service model where users receive new components to enable continued growth and evolution of their lighting experience, establishing a long-term relationship between the product and its user while ensuring sustained functionality and aesthetic appeal.
