Square And Circle Interior Design

Square And Circle Interior Design

Square and Circle Interior Design is an innovative architectural interior design project completed in 2016 in Taichung City, Taiwan, that masterfully integrates geometric principles and contrasting elements to create a sophisticated residential property sales environment. The design, conceived by Hsin-Yuan Lee, demonstrates a remarkable synthesis of form and function through its strategic use of squares, circles, and black and white color schemes. The 196-square-meter space features a striking white-cubical exterior with large front windows and doors that optimize natural light penetration. Drawing inspiration from the artistic style reminiscent of Japanese designer Yayoi Kusama, the design incorporates distinctive circular patterns of varying sizes on the building façade, creating a dynamic visual energy that particularly resonates with first-time property buyers. The interior space exhibits meticulous attention to detail, featuring a thoughtfully designed lobby, information counter, public reception, and meeting rooms adorned with grey mirrors and grilles. These elements work in harmony to enhance the visual scale and reinforce the developer's brand identity. The rectangular counter at the entrance, embellished with grilles and mirrors, creates an illusion of expanded space, while eye-catching walls adorned with bold red dots serve as focal points throughout the interior. This innovative design approach, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2018, exemplifies excellence in spatial planning, material selection, and aesthetic composition, successfully balancing functional requirements with artistic expression.
