Spirit Gum For Stationery Purposes

Spirit Gum For Stationery Purposes

Spirit gum is a type of adhesive that is commonly used in the entertainment industry for attaching prosthetics, wigs, and other costume pieces to the skin. However, it can also be used for stationery purposes. Spirit gum is a type of synthetic adhesive that is made from a mixture of resin, alcohol, and other ingredients. It is known for its strong bonding properties and its ability to stick to a variety of surfaces. When used for stationery purposes, spirit gum can be used to attach embellishments, such as rhinestones, sequins, and other decorative elements to paper, cardstock, and other materials. It is also commonly used in scrapbooking and other paper crafts. Spirit gum is particularly useful for attaching heavier embellishments, as it provides a strong, durable bond that can withstand the weight of the item. To use spirit gum for stationery purposes, a small amount of the adhesive is applied to the back of the embellishment using a toothpick or other small applicator. The embellishment is then pressed firmly onto the paper or other material, and held in place for several seconds to allow the adhesive to dry and set. While spirit gum is a strong adhesive, it is important to use it sparingly and with caution, as it can be difficult to remove from some surfaces. It is also important to avoid getting the adhesive on your skin, as it can cause irritation and other skin reactions.
