Spin Lignt Table Table And Light Lamp

Spin Lignt Table Table And Light Lamp

Spin Lignt Table Table and Light Lamp is an innovative multifunctional furniture piece that seamlessly combines illumination and surface functionality, designed by Brazilian architect and designer Fabricio Roncca. This versatile creation exemplifies the contemporary approach to flexible living spaces through its dual-purpose design, featuring a meticulously crafted pine wood top mounted on a sleek carbon steel base. The design's distinctive characteristic lies in its inverted pyramid construction, which houses LED strip lighting within its wooden structure, creating an ambient illumination effect that transforms the piece from a mere table into an atmospheric lighting element. Standing at 60 centimeters in height with a diameter of 49 centimeters, the piece demonstrates exceptional versatility in its installation options, allowing for floor placement, wall mounting, or ceiling suspension. The contraposition of materials - the warmth of turned pine wood against the industrial aesthetic of the slim metal base - creates a compelling visual dialogue while maintaining structural integrity. The design, which earned the Silver A' Design Award in the Furniture Design category, represents a significant achievement in addressing the challenges of contemporary living spaces through its adaptable nature and user-centric approach. The piece's construction required innovative technical solutions, particularly in the specialized woodturning process necessary to achieve its unique form, demonstrating the designer's commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional furniture craftsmanship while maintaining functionality and aesthetic appeal.
