Space Pendant Lamp is an innovative lighting fixture that exemplifies the intersection of astronomical inspiration and contemporary design aesthetics. Created by Hungarian designer Daniel Mato in 2018, this sophisticated pendant lamp draws its distinctive form from the elliptical and parabolic orbits of asteroids, translating celestial mechanics into functional art. The design features precisely arranged anodized aluminum poles mounted on a 3D-printed ring, creating a dynamic visual composition that appears to float in space. Standing at 960mm in height with a diameter of 640mm, the lamp's structure achieves a remarkable balance between visual impact and physical lightness, weighing approximately 3kg. The central white glass shade houses an E27 LED bulb (maximum 12W) that harmoniously diffuses light through the sculptural framework, while the anodized aluminum poles create ever-changing reflections depending on the viewing angle and ambient lighting conditions. The lamp's sophisticated engineering allows for partial assembly during shipping, addressing both practical logistics and environmental considerations.
