Source Of Life - Longfor Group Interior Design
Source of Life - Longfor Group Interior Design is an exemplary interior design project completed in 2018 in Chengdu, China, that masterfully integrates natural elements with contemporary architectural aesthetics. This sophisticated 730-square-meter space showcases a harmonious blend of artistic installation and functional design, featuring a remarkable centerpiece installation titled 'Life' that stands nearly ten meters tall. The design, conceived by Chinese designer Huang Quan, demonstrates an innovative approach to spatial organization through the implementation of symbolization, artisanship, culturalization, and emotional resonance. The installation's surreal interpretation of natural textures, reminiscent of leaf veins and tree bark, is executed through a careful combination of stainless steel and stone, enhanced by intricate carving work. The space incorporates a thoughtfully curated color palette, including champagne gold accents in the meeting area, where three hundred wine bottles create a striking display of organizational precision. The design's sophisticated elements extend to include high-saturation bright colors, abstract sculptures, and cultural imagery that contribute to an artistic fantasy atmosphere. The space features embedded antique-and-curio shelves that seamlessly integrate with the overall vertical styling, while beige wood veneer surrounds white stone in caracole patterns, complemented by blue accent blocks that evoke a maritime aesthetic. Soft lighting techniques are employed to blur spatial boundaries, creating a cohesive environmental experience. This exceptional project, recognized with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2019, exemplifies the successful marriage of natural inspiration with contemporary design sensibilities, setting new standards for innovative interior spaces.
