Sorkhroud Seaside Town Urban Design

Sorkhroud Seaside Town Urban Design is an innovative urban architectural project located in northern Iran, encompassing a sophisticated residential complex spread across 48,000 square meters of land. Designed by Mohammad Rahimizadeh, this Silver A' Design Award-winning development features 71 villa units arranged in a thoughtfully orchestrated layout that maximizes both seaside and city views while maintaining privacy between residences. The project's distinctive approach to urban planning is characterized by its unique volumetric arrangement, where each villa is strategically rotated and positioned to create a cohesive architectural puzzle that optimizes spatial relationships and visual perspectives. The development comprises five distinct villa types, each constructed across three floors with approximately 450 square meters of living space on 500-square-meter plots. The design philosophy emphasizes the purity of form through the use of micro cement finishing, creating clean, white surfaces that enhance the architectural composition. Notable features include innovative parking solutions integrated within the spaces between building modules, careful consideration of air circulation to address humidity concerns, and a sophisticated approach to privacy management through strategic building orientation. The project, which commenced construction in February 2021, demonstrates exceptional attention to climatic, cultural, and social considerations, establishing new standards in seaside residential development and earning recognition in the A' Construction and Real Estate Projects Design Award category for its outstanding architectural merit and innovative urban planning solutions.
