Softline Coffee Cup And Bowl

Softline Coffee Cup And Bowl

Softline Coffee Cup and Bowl is an innovative porcelain drinkware and dining solution designed by Ahmet Osman Peker that exemplifies the concept of porcelain on the go through its versatile functionality and thoughtful design elements. This multifunctional vessel, which earned the Bronze A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design category, features a sophisticated combination of porcelain body and food-safe silicone components that work in harmony to enhance the user experience. The design incorporates a specially developed reactive glaze technique that creates distinctive colorways, while its ergonomic form features soft, flowing lines that ensure comfortable handling. Available in 300cc and 350cc volumes, the vessel's dual-purpose functionality allows it to serve as both a coffee cup and a bowl for various foods such as granola, fruit salad, or smoothie bowls. The design addresses contemporary sustainability concerns by offering an environmentally conscious alternative to disposable cups, with all components being individually recyclable. Notable technical features include a precisely engineered 3-degree angle in the drinking hole of the silicone lid to prevent lip scalding, and a protective silicone sleeve that provides effective heat insulation while maintaining the vessel's aesthetic appeal through its interplay of glossy and matte surfaces. The design successfully combines practical functionality with aesthetic refinement, offering a sustainable solution that caters to modern lifestyle needs while maintaining the sophisticated character of traditional porcelain tableware.
