So Fifties Bathroom Collection

So Fifties Bathroom Collection

So Fifties Bathroom collection is a distinguished retro-style bathroom suite that masterfully reimagines 1950s Streamline design principles for contemporary spaces. Created by Italian designer Emanuele Pangrazi, this comprehensive collection embodies the dynamic aerodynamic aesthetics characteristic of the 1950s era while maintaining a sophisticated, monolithic presence. The collection, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category, comprises thirteen meticulously crafted pieces including various washbasins, wall-mounted fixtures, and complementary sanitaryware. The washbasins, manufactured in fine fire clay ceramic, are available in multiple configurations ranging from 44 to 130 centimeters in width, while the sanitaryware components are crafted from vitreous china ceramic. The design philosophy deliberately eschews stereotypical retro elements in favor of clean, elegant lines that pay homage to the period's formal sophistication. Each piece features dynamic yet substantial forms that create a harmonious balance between vintage aesthetics and contemporary functionality. The collection's versatility is enhanced through its modular approach, offering various metal stand options in different sizes and materials, enabling multiple configuration possibilities to suit diverse spatial requirements. This adaptability, combined with its technical excellence and aesthetic refinement, positions the collection as a significant contribution to modern bathroom design that successfully bridges historical design elements with present-day functionality and manufacturing capabilities.
