SLS Dubai Hotel And Residence

SLS Dubai Hotel And Residence

SLS Dubai Hotel and Residence is a monumental architectural achievement that stands as one of the tallest hotels and residences in the Middle East region, comprising 75 floors of sophisticated design and luxurious accommodations. This remarkable structure, completed in 2021, houses 946 units distributed among 254 uniquely designed hotel rooms, 321 hotel apartments, and 371 residences, each crafted to exemplify contemporary luxury living. The architectural design draws inspiration from mid-century classic architecture, featuring a distinctive honeycomb facade structure where residential units are strategically rotated 45 degrees across four different axes to maximize privacy and panoramic views. The building's innovative design earned recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building and Structure Design category, acknowledging its exceptional architectural merit and design innovation. The structure's most notable feature is its sky lobby positioned on the 71st floor, accessible via express elevators from the ground floor, rising over 300 meters to provide guests with an unprecedented arrival experience. The building's vertical programming includes sophisticated amenities such as a spa on the 69th floor, an all-day dining venue on the 70th floor, and two infinity pools on the 75th floor, offering unparalleled 360-degree views of the urban landscape. The interior design showcases a harmonious blend of cosmopolitan sophistication and refined aesthetics, particularly evident in its two-bedroom duplexes and one-bedroom lofts, the latter featuring dramatic seven-meter ceiling heights that create expansive living spaces. The project, which underwent development from 2015 to 2021, represents a significant advancement in hospitality architecture, combining innovative structural design with luxury accommodations and world-class amenities.
