Slender Gold CIFI Interior Design

Slender Gold CIFI Interior Design is a distinguished interior architectural project that exemplifies sophisticated spatial design through its harmonious blend of contemporary aesthetics and cultural elements. This 2,360-square-meter private club, completed in September 2017 in Shanghai, features an impressive 8-meter-tall lobby that establishes a commanding presence and creates an atmosphere of refined elegance. The design, created by a team led by Quan Huang alongside Yi-Jun Jia, Song-Wen Xiao, Liang-Xing Zhang, and Rui-Qi Wang, masterfully integrates office and hospitality functionalities while maintaining a forward-looking aesthetic sensibility. The space is characterized by its versatile layout that accommodates both club activities and exhibitions, featuring premium materials such as large-format marble and clear glass in the reception area. Notable design elements include a carefully curated collection of Shanghai-style historical photographs in the VIP room, creating a thoughtful dialogue between the city's heritage and contemporary design language. The project's sophisticated approach to space utilization, combined with its integration of artistic elements and cultural artifacts throughout the interior, earned it a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, recognizing its excellence in spatial design and cultural sensitivity. The design successfully creates distinct zones including exhibition spaces, meeting areas, and a top-floor garden, while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic through careful material selection and architectural detailing.
