Slash Lamp Lighting object is an innovative and thought-provoking lighting design that challenges conventional relationships between users and objects through its unique interactive concept. Created by designer Dragos Motica, this remarkable piece consists of a concrete lampshade suspended from the ceiling by a textured cord, featuring an adjustable height mechanism through a carabiner and spool system. The lamp's distinctive characteristic lies in its participatory nature, presenting users with a deliberate choice: they can either preserve the concrete shade in its original form or utilize an accompanying stone to break the exterior, revealing an internal wire mesh structure.
