Sky Lounge Restaurant

Sky Lounge Restaurant

Sky Lounge Restaurant is an architecturally significant dining establishment located on the 21st floor of a luxury hotel in northern Tehran, Iran, exemplifying a harmonious fusion of traditional Iranian architectural elements with contemporary design principles. The space, spanning 1400 square meters with an impressive 50-meter length and 11-meter height, showcases a masterful integration of Sassanian-era architectural influences (224-651 AD) with modern amenities and aesthetics. The interior design, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category in 2019, features distinctive ceiling arches inspired by Sassanian architecture, complemented by sophisticated lighting solutions that employ focused spotlights to create intimate dining environments while maintaining the grandeur of the space. The restaurant's design incorporates sustainable elements such as energy-efficient glass installations and advanced climate control systems, while cultural elements such as Persian carpet motifs and traditional mirror work are thoughtfully reinterpreted through a modern lens. The space's innovative design approach extends to its sensory experience, incorporating subtle aromatherapy elements through the diffusion of traditional scents like aloes wood, creating a multi-sensory dining environment that pays homage to Iranian cultural heritage while embracing contemporary luxury dining standards.
