Skiclub Kampen North Sea Pure Can

Skiclub Kampen North Sea Pure Can

Skiclub Kampen North Sea Pure Can is an award-winning beverage packaging design that exemplifies minimalist aesthetics and functional elegance through its pure, clear design language. Created by designer Ulrich Graf, this innovative packaging solution draws inspiration from the pristine environment of Sylt in the North Sea, particularly reflecting the natural beauty and cultural significance of Kampen. The design features the Stranddistel, a flower indigenous to Kampen/Sylt, as its key iconic element, while employing a sophisticated single-color approach that corresponds to the beverage contents, reinforcing the brand's commitment to purity and clarity. The aluminum can, produced through a precise mechanical cold forming process, measures 53mm in breadth and length, with a height of 134mm, and incorporates a unique 13-degree rotated logo placement that enhances visual cohesion. This design solution, which earned a Silver A' Design Award in the Packaging Design category, represents a harmonious blend of form and function, offering premium spirits and mixers in a unified design language that connects the brand's bottle and can presentations. The project, developed between 2012 and 2017, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in its color selection, with each of the four flavors distinguished by specific hues that match their contents, while maintaining the design's characteristic black inscriptions and clean aesthetic principles.
