SIZUYAPAN An-Pan packaging (Bread Packaging) is an innovative Japanese bread packaging design that masterfully blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with contemporary European design elements, created by designer Katsuya Arai in 2012. This sophisticated packaging solution represents a thoughtful evolution in food presentation, specifically designed for An-pan, a traditional Japanese sweet bread filled with red bean paste. The design's distinctive approach incorporates Japanese family crests (mon) as identity markers, creating a unique visual language that connects each bread variety with its own corresponding crest symbol. The packaging dimensions, measuring 65mm x 85mm x 308mm for the 6-piece assorted package and 100mm x 80mm x 40mm for individual units, are meticulously calculated to ensure optimal product presentation and protection. Crafted using eco-friendly materials, including craft paper, the design demonstrates a commitment to sustainability while maintaining aesthetic excellence.
