Six Table Lamp

Six Table Lamp

Six Table Lamp is an innovative lighting fixture designed by André Gurgel that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of geometric precision and functional elegance in contemporary lighting design. Drawing inspiration from hexagonal mathematics and geometric modulation, this sophisticated table lamp represents a thoughtful approach to both form and function in modern interior illumination. The design's distinctive aesthetic stems from its hexagon-inspired form, which not only serves as its primary visual identity but also contributes to its name. Crafted from injection-molded thermoplastic material with a painted finish, the lamp's construction demonstrates efficient manufacturing principles, requiring only two molds for its complete structural assembly. The lamp's carefully considered dimensions of 300mm in width, 270mm in depth, and 400mm in height create a well-proportioned presence in any space. A notable feature of the Six Table Lamp is its optimized head design and light positioning, which enables it to provide extensive area coverage with superior illumination angles, enhancing its practical utility while maintaining its aesthetic appeal. This design, which earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Lighting Products and Fixtures Design category, showcases an intelligent balance between simplicity and sophistication, emphasizing user interaction through its thoughtful features. The lamp's development as part of an internal design project reflects a commitment to creating lighting solutions that combine technical innovation with artistic expression, resulting in a product that enhances both the functional and aesthetic aspects of interior spaces.
