Sino Ocean Landscape Sale Centre

Sino Ocean Landscape Sale Centre

Sino Ocean Landscape Sale Centre is an exemplary architectural and interior design achievement that harmoniously blends Chinese maritime heritage with contemporary design sensibilities, located in the historically significant Mawei District of Fuzhou, China. This sophisticated sales center, encompassing approximately 624 square meters across two floors, demonstrates a masterful integration of cultural elements and modern aesthetics through its thoughtfully curated design elements. The space is characterized by its distinctive symmetrical layout featuring black metal lines, complemented by extensive use of wood veneer and light-grey marble, creating an atmosphere that is both grand and refined. The design philosophy draws profound inspiration from the region's rich shipbuilding heritage, dating back to 1866 when the area played a pivotal role in China's modernization through its shipyard. The interior showcases a harmonious fusion of Eastern and Western architectural influences, incorporating traditional Chinese elements alongside Western design principles. Notable features include carefully selected ship model artworks and water-themed ornaments that serve as cultural touchstones, while warm yellow lighting enhances the space's sophisticated ambiance. The project, completed between October 2019 and January 2020, garnered international recognition with a Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its exceptional achievement in spatial design and cultural integration. The design's success lies in its ability to create a compelling narrative that connects visitors to the location's maritime legacy while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic that serves its commercial purpose.
