Silversea Penthouse Residential is an award-winning luxury residential interior design project situated on Singapore's East Coast, overlooking the iconic Marina Bay and Singapore Strait. This sophisticated 420-square-meter duplex penthouse exemplifies contemporary luxury living through its thoughtful integration of natural elements and sustainable design principles. The interior design scheme employs a deliberately muted color palette to emphasize the panoramic coastal views while incorporating organically shaped furnishings to soften the angular architecture. A centerpiece of the design is a remarkable bespoke light sculpture comprising thousands of individually installed glass rods, crafted to evoke ocean waves and constructed from 97% sustainable materials. The residence spans two stories and encompasses four bedrooms and five bathrooms, featuring custom-designed elements sourced from artisans across five countries. Notable design elements include a sculptural TV console handcrafted in Myanmar and a master wardrobe combining white genuine leather, mirror, and metallic brass finishes. The project, which earned a Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space Design, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail through its use of high-performance, water-repellent fabrics imported from Germany and modular, relocatable joinery systems that promote sustainability. The design successfully achieves its objectives of creating an elegant, entertaining-friendly space that maintains a sense of calm sanctuary while ensuring practical functionality through innovative material selections and thoughtful space planning.
