Silk Eclipse Commercial Space is an innovative retail interior design project that exemplifies the harmonious fusion of leisure aesthetics and professional commercial functionality. Located in New Taipei City, Taiwan, this 118-square-meter commercial space, designed by Tsung Ju Wu, represents a sophisticated approach to modern retail design through its thoughtful integration of natural elements and contemporary architectural features. The design's distinctive entrance, characterized by a diamond-shaped portal and strategic light strip implementation, creates an immersive transitional experience for visitors. The space employs a carefully curated material palette, including marble, herringbone parquet flooring, and oakwood, complemented by advanced LED lighting and 3D paint finishes. The interior's composition demonstrates exceptional spatial planning, incorporating welcome areas, working spaces, and employee lounges while maintaining a delicate balance between Feng Shui principles and modern design aesthetics. Notable design elements include the innovative use of diamond-cut crystal counter decorations, which add sophisticated visual interest to the predominantly black and white scheme. The project, which was completed in 2017, earned recognition with an Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its excellence in spatial design and material application. The design successfully addresses complex architectural challenges, including the strategic repositioning of the entrance to optimize the triangular intersection location, while maintaining a cohesive design language that emphasizes both functionality and aesthetic refinement.
