Sierra Hijauan Residential House

Sierra Hijauan Residential House

Sierra Hijauan Residential House is an exemplary residential interior design project located in Ampang, Malaysia, showcasing a harmonious blend of modern contemporary and minimalist design principles. This approximately 4,000-square-foot residence, designed by Jack Lim and Eden Ho, demonstrates a sophisticated approach to spatial design through its innovative use of flowing elements and curved surfaces, deliberately moving away from conventional angular geometries. The design philosophy emphasizes comfort and tranquility through a carefully curated zen atmosphere, achieved through the thoughtful integration of warm-toned materials including light wood, raw marble surfaces, and matte finishes. A distinguishing feature of the project is its master bedroom design, which incorporates innovative spatial planning with breathable partitions and a unique see-through window mechanism between the walk-in closet and main sleeping area. The interior architecture employs a modular cabinet system designed with careful consideration of ergonomics and user behavior patterns, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal. The project's lighting design combines natural illumination with strategic ambient lighting to create distinct moods in different functional areas while highlighting key furniture pieces. This residential project, which commenced in March 2021, exemplifies excellence in interior space design, earning recognition with a Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category, acknowledging its outstanding contribution to residential interior design innovation.
